We are delighted to announce that British Rowing have selected GoMembership to deliver their new online membership management system for its 30,000 members, as well as a new online club administration system, called ClubHub. British Rowing’s ClubHub portal will reduce the administrative effort for clubs and help streamline the member sign-up and renewal process. ClubHub is now live at ten of these clubs in an initial pilot of the system, with full rollout planned for later on this year.
There are currently 575 clubs affiliated to British Rowing, mostly run by dedicated volunteers in their spare time. ClubHub will support these volunteers by helping to improve and streamline membership and club administration processes, promote good practice in the management of personal data, provide a better user experience for the rowing community and support British Rowing in gaining further insight into the sport.
David Pring, Azolve CEO says, “We were thrilled when British Rowing selected GoMembership in 2017 - the whole team worked hard to prove that our solution is at the forefront of membership management technology, and our proven track record with over 50 National Governing Bodies of Sport speaks for itself. We are excited to now see GoMembership live and ClubHub in action, and believe that it will become a cornerstone for the organisation, benefitting their clubs, their members and the wider rowing community.”
Phil Hornsey, British Rowing’s Director of Membership & Community, said: “We are delighted to be working with Azolve on this new service for the rowing community. We conducted a rigorous partner selection process on behalf of our clubs, and are confident that Azolve are the best project partner for British Rowing, and that their GoMembership system is the leading solution for this type of service. We’re also grateful to Sport England for their support of the ClubHub project, and for their financial investment in it.”
British Rowing is the national governing body for the sport of rowing, and is responsible for the development of rowing in England, as well as the training and selection of individual rowers and crews representing Great Britain. The sport is popular throughout England with over 695,000 people rowing at least twice a month (Sport England’s Active Lives survey, November 2016-17).
