We’re delighted to announce that the English Chess Federation have just made a winning move and selected GoMembership. The English Chess Federation (ECF) is the governing chess organisation in England and aims to promote and develop the game of chess to the widest possible public as a social and sporting activity. The ECF carry out an extensive range of activities, including running the annual British Chess Championships and other events, training coaches and arbiters, selecting teams for adult and junior international events and maintaining the National Grading system for players.
GoMembership will, put simply, help the English Chess Federation efficiently manage their members, clubs, events, gradings, online payments and communications, bringing everything together seamlessly into the GoMembership solution.
David Pring, Azolve CEO says, “The English Chess Federation are a fantastic organisation with a rich history and a dedicated team at the helm. We are excited to get the go-ahead from them for GoMembership and look forward to getting the implementation underway very soon.”
Dave Thomas, the Federation's Director of Membership, says: “We are hoping that the first stage of the implementation of the new system will streamline our membership renewals. Once that is in place we will be considering what additional services the portal allows us to offer to our affiliated organisations.”
